We are happy that you have decided to take advantage of this online fire extinguisher training program. The primary intended audience is students, faculty, and staff of the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. However, if you are not a member of that audience we appreciate your interest in fire safety and invite you to continue. |

Remember that the most important things you can do if you discover a fire on campus are to activate the fire alarm in the building and report the fire by telephoning 911 (or 9-911 from a campus phone). Do not attempt to fight a fire until you have done those things.

It may be appropriate that you or your unit receive more in-depth fire extinguisher training, including hands-on use.
