Appendix 22. Master Plan, 1986 to 1989, Revised 1990

This plan, prepared by Sasaki Associates, Inc., is intended to guide the growth and development of the entire campus into the next century. It creatively extends the historic north-south axis, reinforces the two (north-south and east-west) axes, uses open spaces that reflect the interests of pedestrians by creating spaces similar to the Quad, and links the north and south campus by creating visual corridors. The quality of landscaping is also reinforced by extensive street tree planting and the creation of several new smaller mini quads.
