Continue to identify energy reduction opportunities for parking facilities
Over the years, the Parking Department has worked with consultants to design the parking deck lighting systems so that they partially shut down during daylight hours. The lighting systems utilize natural sunlight and photo cell controllers to assist with lowering energy consumption. Other energy saving devices are currently being examined for use in parking facilities.
